came home from work a little early this morning........it was nice to get home when Robert was still here for a bit of morning love. It's almost time to get Hunter on the school bus and then i'm off for a spray tan since I haven't got any color on my skin in over a week.It got down to about 30 degrees here in Houston last night..........I'm wearing a sweatshirt. Perfect weather.
I'll be at work again tonight, and then both Robert and I have Wednesday off. yay!!

I bought a lawnmower, and a gas grill!!!!! I have no idea what is happening to me, but suddenly I became a homeowner and it's sorta cool to blow hundreds, or even thousands on stuff for the house!!! Just a few weeks ago I got my washer and dryer from home depot.I tease my boyfriend that "yay, you just got a lawnmower and a grill!!!!", because I seriously have no idea what to do with either one of those things. Seriously, I bought some metal skewers so that I can at least grill my veggies, and I showed my boyfriend exactly where my veggie burgers will be placed on the grill. hahaha
I bought some wisteria to put on my back fenceline. I'm excited to see it bloom in spring. I just hope it doesn't take over the entire neighborhood here in the woodlands.
I'm back in bellydance classes, and omg, i swear i forgot that i ever had those abdominal muscles. I bought the pink special edition valentine's day ipod nano to use on the treadmill, and gave my mini to the boyfriend so that he can use it on the treadmill.
Did I tell you that I got a RING!!!!! yes it has 8 diamonds, and it's platinum. I had put it on layaway a while back, because I liked it, well the boyfriend found the paper and got it out of layaway for me!!!!! It's gorgeous! I need to take pics of it, along with the washer, dryer, lawnmower, and grill. hahaha.
oh, and my garage doors are now automatic!!!!!!! my boyfriend did a super job of installing everything, and I love it!!! i feel so cool pushing the button. it's my first garage, let alone an automatic opening one. yay me!
life is good. off to work for the next 2 days.

Hunter's first week back to school went off without a hitch. I helped in the classroom on the 2nd day of school, even though I had just finished working a 12 hour shift.Went to a BBQ at my sister's house on labor day. She prepared a boca burger especially for me. The rest of the family enjoyed ribs, while Hunter and Brandon ate hot dogs.
Speaking of dogs, I got a baby black lab. She is 5 weeks old, and so tiny with really big feet!! I think she will be the perfect friend, and guard dog for my new house!! She cries like a little baby though during the day while i'm trying to sleep.............so i wake up several times, taking her outside, showing her the food bowl, and petting her. Dang, just like a newborn baby.
I bought a YMCA membership last night. I'm actually quite excited, tonight is my first belly dancing class!! I took classes back in Ohio, but it's been a LONG time. Today i'm off to buy some new workout attire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also signed Hunter up for flag football, not through the Y, but through "i9sports", because the Y sign ups were over. He doesn't seem excited. He had better get excited though cuz it cost me like $150.
My house doesn't have automatic garage door openers.........I don't know why it doesn't, but I hate it. I bought the kit and everything to make them automatic and the boyfriend will be hooking it up this weekend. YAY!!!

alot has happened. i've been without internet for almost 2 months now. I've bought a home. I took a staff job as an ER charge nurse, Hunter started back to school, I've been dating a wonderful man for the last 3 months.I love my house and my man! Photos on my flickr!! Today was Hunter's 3rd day back to school. I went into the classroom yesterday to observe and help out. My new job is challenging, but I love that.
My mom also moved from Tennessee to Texas!!!!! So, now it's me, my mom and my sister here in Texas, and I couldn't be happier.
Buying this home has pretty much consumed me, my time, and my money since April. I'm sooooo glad the process is over, and now I can just live in the house and be happy!!

so, i fucked up my date the other night. You see, I don't really know the area here, and I planned to meet my date at a local theater. I got directions from my sister, showed up on time, and it turns out I was at the wrong theater............and I was the one that planned the theater. Turns out he wasn't mad, and we ended up seeing Iron Man anyway.

I need to update this, basically I need to update my entire page. My life has been updated like 100 times since I last posted. Here goes......I'm on a contract about an hour outside of Houston. It's a nice hospital, and the ER is really small.. As a new graduate RN I worked in a 9 bed ER, so it's just a bit bigger. It's sorta out in the country, no trauma, and everybody knows everybody. Definitely NOT my style, but I get a paycheck, and have something to do for 12 hours at a time most evenings.
Met a hot lesbian, and realized that between her working in the ER and the ambulance service, she was getting paid for just about EVERY hour she is alive. Things started ticking in my brain, and I realized that I want to get paid for every hour i'm alive, so I enrolled in an online EMT program. The program is out of an area by Dallas, Percom . I probably won't ever use the EMT qualification, but it'll be nice to learn some pre-hospital stuff that i've wanted to learn forever now. I basically enrolled to gain insight into pre-hospital skills, to have an added credential in case I ever apply to a flight nurse position, and who knows, I may even enroll in a medic program.
My personal/love life has been crazy wild since about February. I think the heat in Houston makes people crazy, wild, and sexual. Right now i'm seeing a nice country boy, that drives a blue pick up truck, and lives on about 20 acres. We're taking Hunter to see Iron Man tonight. I enjoy meeting my men at Wal-Mart.
Probably the biggest decision I'm having to make lately is to buy a home. The home I want has to be custom built, and will take 6 months. There is also another home that is older, in an awesome neighborhood and is ready to be moved in to. I've been searching for just over a month now, and this weekend made me realize that i'm ready. I am leaning toward the custom built home, waiting the 6 months..........going on 2 last contracts before the home is ready. At that time i'd have to stop traveling, take a staff job, and live with a white picket fence and a back yard, with a mortgage. I'm getting old, I need to do this.

just 3 shifts on this current contract. thank god. i've been at this hospital for 2 contracts, and it still sucks. last week they fired the ER manager, and the ER director. i think it's rather funny that this place sucks so fucking bad. the only thing i can do is show up for my shifts and provide the best possible care for my patients with the resources that are given to me.my next contract at a different houston hospital takes me through the middle of July. I bought Astros season tickets, and season passes to splash town for my son and I. I'm actually working on something very "pro-woman" for after that contract is finished. I hope it goes to my liking.

yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy..........i bought season passes to splash town here in houston. it's like a huge waterpark!!!! I also bought a season pack of tickets to see the houston astros play!!!!! Dang it's gonna be hot in Houston. It is 72 here now and it's 2am. It's suppose to be 81 degrees later today. I have to work. paychecks rock.
